A striking large flax that forms robust clumps of broad, vibrant green leaves. An excellent choice for weaving and fiber production. Beyond its ornamental appeal, it serves as an exceptional low shelter and erosion control solution, with nectar in mid Summer and nectar in late Summer, attracting a variety of pollinators and birds. Very hardy; thrives in diverse environments from swampy areas to coastal regions.
