Wharariki / Mountain Flax

Drooping, twisted seed pods and wide, glossy-green, weeping leaves, offering a unique aesthetic appeal. Smaller than its counterpart, P. tenax. Expansive root system makes it an excellent choice for erosion control on banks and bunds. Producing nectar from early to mid Summer and fruit/seeds from mid to late Summer, this versatile plant exhibits remarkable tolerance to dry, cold, and exposed conditions.
