A heritage Cooking/Eating apple from 18th century Western Europe. Distinctive deep maroon fruit with copper russeted patches; large, flattened-round size.
Crisp and juicy with a mildly sweet, sub-acid fruity taste. Very productive tree. Fruit can store for a month or so. Ripens March.
Grafted onto a M793 Rootstock.
M793 is a larger growing rootstock with vigorous growth characteristics. Better suited to heavier soils.
