Our Holiday Opening Hours

As the festive season approaches, we want to keep you up to date on our holiday opening hours so you can plan your visits, orders, and shipments with ease.

The plant centre will be open for most of the summer, closing only for the public holidays so our team can enjoy a well-deserved break. Here’s the full schedule:

Christmas and New Years Hours:

• Wednesday, 24 December – Open until 3pm
• Thursday, 25 December – Closed
• Friday,  26 December – Closed
• Thursday, 1 January – Closed
• Friday, 2 January – Closed

On other days not listed above, we’ll be open as usual 8am-5pm on weekdays, 9am-5pm Weekends.

Shipping

With the hot, dry Canterbury summer and all the public holidays over Christmas and New Year, we’ll pause shipping for a few weeks for most consignments.

• North Island Dispatch closes 12 December 2025
• South Island Dispatch closes 16 December 2025
• Nationwide freight services will resume Monday, 5 January 2026

Collections are available all days we’re open.
