Purple Wisteria

This climber flowers in late spring.  As the pale bronze leaves emerge, they gradually turn to green. Dark-purple buds open to sweetly-scented double-violet blooms. Great for pergolas or wall where the flowers can hang down. Deciduous.  Hardy.
