Prune Plum ‘Stanley’

A large spreading tree, producing large, sweet, and versatile fruits with deep purple-blue skin and tender yellowish flesh that is perfect for fresh eating, drying, canning, and baking. Does best in temperate climates like Canterbury or further south. Plant in a sunny, sheltered position in fertile, free-draining soils. Self-fertile and makes a great pollinator for some of the later European plum varieties. Ripens February/March. Freestone. Rootstock: GQU.
