The largest and heaviest cones of any pine species, with cones between 2-5kgs and between 20-40cm long. Fast growing, wide spreading pine with attractive blueish needles. Wind tolerant and low branching, great for a dry plains shelter belt. Tolerates extremes of hot and dry. Evergreen. Frost Hardy.
