Ophiopogon japonicus
Versatile green mondo grass, with attractive form and lush green colouring. Forms dense tufts of arching, strappy leaves. Mauve to white flowers in summer are followed by black berries. Can be used as a lawn substitute, garden edging, is ideal for rockeries or mass planting and as a living mulch on pots and containers. Tough and durable, perfect for adding texture to the garden. Very hardy.
