Olea europaea ‘Frantoio’
Tuscan cultivar with excellent oil quality and flavour, and moderate oil production. A late ripener in May, crops may be harvested green or pickled. Moderate yields, though these are improved by pollinating with O. europaea ‘Leccino’. Main pollinator for other varieties. Some resistance to Peacock Spot. Frost hardy.
