A rare crab apple from the Mediterranean. Great for restricted spaces, it is upright, symmetrical and gives a formal structure to gardens. Maple-like leaves take on an attractive burgundy tint in autumn. Large, white flowers and inedible green fruits. Deciduous. Hardy.
