Lime ‘Makrut’

Fruiting Lime

Highly fragrant leaves are commonly used in Thai and Southeast Asian cuisine, lending a unique citrusy flavor to dishes. Knobby, bumpy fruits, resembling wrinkled limes, are known for their intense aroma and tartness; its zest can also be used in cooking, while the rest of the fruit is traditionally used for medicinal purposes. Thrives in a warm, frost-free position in well-drained soil. Ripens March to September.

How does shipping work?

Freight is calculated automatically at checkout for smaller orders. For bulkier consignments, we’ll be back in touch to confirm a freight price. See our Shipping Information for more details.

North Island Customers: Shipping costs can be significant (and sometimes exceed the plant value), so combining items into a larger order helps keep it cost-effective.
