Hydrangea ‘Runaway Bride’
This award winning Hydrangea delivers a stunning display of white lacecap blooms along softly arching stems, giving it a graceful garland look throughout its long flowering season. The deep green foliage takes on a rich red tone in autumn, adding extra seasonal interest. It flowers reliably, year after year, with very little pruning needed.
Thrives in moist, well-drained soil in sun or partial shade, with some shelter from intense afternoon heat. Deciduous and frost-hardy.
Awarded Plant of the Year at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show in 2018 and awarded winner of Japan’s Flower of The Year Award 2019-2020. Most recently it was awarded the Plant of the Year 2025 award in Australia.
