Cupressus x leylandii ‘Leighton Green’
Fast-growing tree providing dense, even shelter. Widely planted in the past but has recently shown greater susceptibility to cypress canker in Canterbury. Good in lower South Island. Tolerates a variety of soils and climate. Requires more maintenance than other clones. Cold hardy.
