A rare and endangered scrambling broom from the Eastern South Island. Leafy in spring and summer if in a moist, shaded position, but often leafless in drier sites. Flowers are white with purple veins, borne from November to January. Great on a bank or retaining wall. Semi-evergreen. Hardy.
