Blueberry ‘Climax’
Rabbiteye type. Typically taller growing, Rabbiteye blueberries are suited to warmer areas of New Zealand with lower chilling hours. Will fruit later in the season than Northern Highbush varieties.
An evergreen American variety that is suitable for warmer areas of NZ. The medium-sized blue berries have an excellent flavour. Plant in the sun, in rich acid soil. Best planted with another Rabbiteye variety. Ripens December to January.
