Although one of the largest and longest living trees in the world, the Kauri’s slow growth-rate makes it an appropriate and very special landscaping specimen for a native garden. Kauri prefer a moist soil which does not dry out over summer, tolerating some wet ground. Requires a sheltered, relatively frost-free site. Evergreen.
