A note on freight costs

If you’ve noticed freight costs have been creeping up, you’re not alone. Rising fuel prices, transport demand, and wider economic pressure are all playing a part. Like many in the industry, we’re feeling it too.

Rather than building these increases into our plant pricing, we’re holding them and trying our best to keep freight lean. Our website pulls live rates from a number of carriers, so what you see at checkout reflects what delivery actually costs right now. We reckon that’s the fairest way to do it.

We’re also making a conscious effort to hold our plant prices for as long as we can. We know times are tight for many, and keeping gardening and landscaping accessible matters to us.

Easy ways to avoid freight altogether

There are a couple of options to avoid freight altogether. We offer free click and collect, available seven days a week. It’s a simple option if you’re local or passing through.

We also have a trailer available to borrow at no cost. Just get in touch with our sales team to book it in advance.

Heading our way with your own trailer? Try “Fill a Trailer”

If you’re from out of town and you’ve got your own trailer, our “fill a trailer” service may be for you, especially for larger orders.

Simply drop your trailer off as you come through. We’ll store it securely and carefully load it with your selected trees and plants, ready to collect on your way home. Just make sure to place your order a few days in advance so we’ve got time to get everything organised and ready to go.

Our approach remains the same: fair pricing, healthy plants, and no surprises.
