Spring Plant Sale
At least 20% off all plants!
Ten Days & In-store Only
Friday 23 Oct t0 Sun 1 Nov
Great deals on thousands of trees and shrubs.
Spring has arrived, and so has our biggest sale of the year. For ten days only, there’s at least 20% off all plants and 15% off tools, pots and planting accessories at our plant centre between Templeton and Rolleston.
Don’t miss our Red-Tag Super Specials either, discounted well beyond 20%.
Get them in before the dry.
Forecasters are picking a strong El Niño summer, which on the Plains usually means drying nor’westers and long spells without rain. The good news is we’re well stocked with tough Canterbury performers like kānuka, kōwhai, coprosma and hardy grasses, most of them grown right here by locals who know Selwyn’s soils inside out. Our advice is simple: right plant, right place, and get them in soon so the roots are down before summer sets in.
MORE THAN NATIVES
There's plenty to discover
We reckon natives are hard to beat, and many of ours are eco-sourced to suit local conditions. But there’s plenty more to discover:
- Hedging and shelter
- Perennials for colourful borders
- Over 70 varieties of fruit trees
- Ornamentals and statement specimen trees
- Drought-hardy Australian and South African plants like grevilleas and leucadendrons
Planning something bigger? Our in-house landscape architects can design your garden from scratch.
Come on down and say hello!
We supply residential, rural and commercial customers, and with the whole plant centre on sale, there’s sure to be something to get you growing. Pop in for honest advice and a friendly chat.
Catch you at the nursery
Bring the whole family (kids and dogs welcome) for a relaxed wander through the plant centre, with plenty of easy parking. We’ve been growing plants on the Canterbury Plains for nearly 40 years, and nothing makes us more stoked than seeing them thrive in your garden.
