Syn. Senecio monroi. A bushy, evergreen shrub native to the Marlborough and north Canterbury region. The leaves are spear-shaped, olive green above and white below with toothed edges. Attractive bright yellow flowers in summer. Tolerant of hot sun, poor soils and wind. More compact and hardier than B. greyi. Evergreen.
