Acer palmatum var. dissectum ‘Seiryu’ is an elegant upright Japanese maple with finely dissected foliage that develops a spreading habit with age. Fresh green leaves provide a light, airy canopy through summer before turning rich gold and red in autumn. Best planted in moist, free-draining soil in a sheltered, lightly shaded position.
