Southern Woods is currently in the process of judging several primary schools for their new native gardens. This has been held in conjunction with Te ara Kakariki, Mitre10 Mega Hornby, and the Selwyn District Council.

Plant all fruit and deciduous trees NOW! The window for planting OG trees will close in the next month. Check out the importance of planting poplars and willows, particularly for bank stabilization after the floods we've been having. Something to think for next year...
